Thunderbird Artists, producers of top rated juried fine art and wine events in the Southwest Region, have a unique partnership with the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Carefree that began in 1994.

The Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festivals have continued to rank in the top 100 shows in the nation and taken top placement in many prestigious magazines over the years. Sidney Sheldon even mentioned the Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival in his novel "Best Laid Plans".

What make these festivals unique are the backdrop of spectacular massive natural boulders, expansive mountain views and the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert. The streets of downtown are closed to host 165 award-winning, nationally recognized artists from around the world, showcasing in excess of 5,000 pieces of original artworks. Surrounding the festival are specialty shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants and outdoor cafes.

Thunderbird Artists | Arizona Fine Art and Wine FestivalsThunderbird Artists presents Arizona’s largest wine-tasting events in Carefree. An extensive collection of domestic and imported wines are presented and it is only $10 to participate. Wine tasting includes a souvenir wine glass and tasting tickets to sample premium wines from around the world. Patrons at a Thunderbird Artists festival enjoy the ambiance of strolling throughout the finest art, sipping great wines and listening to live musical entertainment for that absolutely perfect afternoon.
